As autumn colors sweep across campus, we enter this new season joyful, prayerful, and thankful—holding close the encouragement of 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18: “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
Homecoming is just around the corner this weekend, and we can’t wait to welcome alumni, families, and friends back to campus. It’s a special time to celebrate shared memories, create new ones, and rejoice in all that God is doing in and through the Wildcat community.
We’re also looking ahead with anticipation to our IWU Alumni & Friends Tour: Washington D.C. Trip in April 2026, a meaningful opportunity to travel, connect, and reflect together. Alongside this, we’re excited to share news of new university partnerships that are expanding IWU’s reach and impact, as well as inspiring alumni stories and updates from across the globe.
In this season of gratitude, thank you for being a faithful and vital part of the IWU story.

PCI Alumni Story Telling Project Update
|
Several alumni who participated in our Alumni Storytelling Project with PCI have reached out for an update, and we want to keep you informed. PCI is the company that connected with our alumni, collected your stories, and is now in the process of creating the book.
While stories were collected through late Spring 2025, the production of the book has unfortunately been delayed. We share in your frustration and want you to know that we are in regular communication with PCI, following up weekly to help move this project forward. PCI has informed us that they will be reaching out directly to alumni very soon with more information about the delay and the status of individual orders.
For those who would like to check on their order in the meantime, PCI can be reached directly at 1-800-982-1590 or PCIservice@publishingconcepts.com.
We are genuinely excited to see these incredible stories come to life and look forward to sharing them with our Wildcat community soon. Thank you for your patience and enthusiasm!

Mathtrack Institute & IWU Partner for New Program
|
The apprenticeship program offers an accelerated and affordable pathway to an accredited degree and teaching license in early childhood, elementary, secondary, and special education. Together, the institutions aim to transform how people can professionally launch and grow their careers in education. Apprentices can earn up to 30 credits through classroom experience, with the remaining coursework completed online.
The initiative builds on two proven models: IWU’s “Para to Teacher” pathway, which has supported more than 800 educators in Texas and Indiana, and on MathTrack’s success licensing 25 new Indiana math teachers in the last 18 months. Together, the two institutions are already serving more than 1,000 educators nationwide.

About eight years ago, Jairus started a Mental Health Practice as an LCSW, partnering with his church, Mountain West in Stone Mountain, GA, to provide therapy for staff and congregants. God then placed it on his heart to create a nonprofit to offer Christ-centered counseling to churches across Georgia. He developed a training handbook combining scripture with therapeutic techniques to equip born-again Christian therapists. Through an affordable subscription model, churches can access trained therapists who point people to Christ in their counseling journey. He is launching January 1, 2026, and would greatly appreciate prayers and support for this much-needed ministry in Atlanta!
